A one-time Review can identify the current state of the portfolio. Ongoing counsel is designed for companies with a continuing job: new awards, new inventions, patent changes, reporting cycles, collaborations, commercialization activity, closeout, or transaction preparation.
This is defined-capacity recurring counsel, not unlimited outside counsel. Major patent matters, opinions, transactions, disputes, remediation, and specialist work remain separately scoped.

What defined capacity means
Must ongoing counsel follow a Portfolio Review?
Usually. The Review establishes the current record, open questions, owners, and recurring job. A different initial diagnostic may be separately scoped when appropriate.
Does a monthly fee include unlimited work?
No. Capacity, record limits, cadence, response expectations, client responsibilities, and excluded work are stated in the engagement.
Can recurring scope expand during a transaction or dispute?
Only through a written scope change or separate engagement, and only when Cognivito is competent, covered, authorized, and appropriately supported.
